Baumwolle ist hautfreundlich, hat ein sehr geringes Allergiepotential, ist temperierend und saugfähig. Leinen ist von Natur aus bakterizid, schmutzabweisend und und fast antistatisch. Beide Komponenten sind Naturfasern, also nachwachsende Rohstoffe. Textilien daraus fühlen sich gesund an, sind langlebig und dabei überaus strapazierfähig.
Baumwoll-Leinen mit seinen natürlichen Eigenschaften kann guten Gewissens als ökologisch bezeichnet werden. Als Bezug für ein Meditationskissen nutzt es sich kaum ab. Es braucht nur selten gereinigt zu werden, ist biologisch und energetisch unbedenklich. Ein von Hand angefertigtes Kissen dieser Art kann ein Begleiter für's Leben werden.
