This product can be found in the frozen foods aisle. They come in a tray you can pop in the oven or microwave, and voilà! Easy ripe plantains in minutes.

Tostones:
Tostones, Fried Plantains Deliciously crispy tostones in minutes. www.goya.com. Does not contain trans fatty acids. In a skillet or deep fryer at 350 degrees F, preheat enough oil to cover tostones. Fry for four minutes or until golden, turning occasionally. Drain on paper towel. For Best Results: Soak tostones in salted water for a few minuets before frying. Fry from frozen state. We do not recommend cooking product in microwave oven.
