The 3" Ultra Arm with NATO Lock from Wooden Camera is an extension designed to hold an accessory to the camera body. Two sets of 1" double ball joints allow the accessory to be positioned in just about any orientation. The modular articulating arm features a NATO standard quick release and clamp on each end.
The rail portion can bolt into a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 hole, and a set screw can be installed to prevent twisting. The rail also offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads for accessories. The clamp portion of the kit can bolt into a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 hole using included screws, and is also threaded with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes for accessories. This arm is suitable for small monitors, lights, and audio recorders.
