You were made for the basement.

You’ve strutted past velvet ropes. Now rep the one club that didn’t care for your cologne, your tie, or your preppy rugby shirt. The Mineshaft NYC Jackhammer Tank is more than musclewear — it’s raw gay bar history, worn like armor.

This vintage-style leather scene tank features a new front graphic of a jacked miner gripping a jackhammer, ready to break more than ground. On the back? A scanned replica of the infamous Mineshaft “Party Policy” flyer that once marked the lower level as a haven for men in leather, uniforms, and S/M gear. It wasn’t just a dress code — it was a manifesto.

Imagine this: You’re laced up in boots, muscles lit under neon, stepping into a room soaked in leather, legacy, and lust. A nod from the corner. A flash of recognition. Someone leans in and says, “You know the code.
That’s this shirt.

Why this shirt hits hard (and deep):

Authentic tribute to the legendary Mineshaft NYC gay leather bar and its iconic lower-level party rules.
Striking front graphic of a leather-clad miner with a jackhammer — a symbol of brute force and queer power.
Back print of the original Mineshaft flyer from the 1980s, promoting S/M activities and dress codes.

Crafted for the culture — made of 100% airlume combed ring-spun cotton, soft and strong like a firm handshake behind a blackout curtain.
Built for pride and play — perfect for Folsom Street Fair, Eagle NYC, street cruising, or just looking hot while grocery shopping.
Relaxed fit and cut-off armholes (4.2 oz/y², 32 singles) for that sleeveless, no-fucks-given energy.

FAQs:
Q: What’s the significance of the Mineshaft Jackhammer Tank?
A: This tank is a tribute to the gritty, unapologetic spirit of Mineshaft, the legendary NYC gay leather bar that ruled underground queer nightlife in the late ’70s and ’80s. The jackhammer graphic on the front symbolizes raw masculine power, while the back print features the original party policy from the club’s lower-level dungeon nights — a real piece of fetish history you can wear.

Q: What’s printed on the back of the shirt?
A: The back showcases an exact replica of the original Mineshaft Party Policy flyer — the one that laid out the dress code and promoted leather, uniforms, and S/M gear-only parties on Fridays and Sundays. It’s not just bold — it’s a wearable manifesto.

Q: Is this just a fashion item or is it authentic fetishwear?
A: Why not both? Designed for comfort and strength, this muscle tank holds its own at Folsom Street Fair, leather bars, Pride afterparties, or just strolling down Christopher Street with a smirk. It’s a legit nod to vintage gay fetish gear — but elevated for now.

Q: What material is this tank made from?
A: It’s made from 100% airlume combed ring-spun cotton, with a fabric weight of 4.2 oz/y² (142 g/m²). It’s soft, breathable, and made to last — because good things should feel good and stay strong.

Q: Do I need to be part of the leather community to wear this?
A: Hell no. Whether you’re old guard, baby gay, or just love queer history with edge, this tank is your invitation. It’s not about gatekeeping — it’s about honoring a space where men were free to be raw, kinky, and fully themselves.
Wear the code. Crush the scene. Pay homage to the men who made it real.

Pretty funny
Format: Hardcover
The book gives us a more focused outlook on Chieg Wiggum. Full of its funny moments, I`d recomend this to huge Simpsons fans as it seems the shows writers managed to give us another hit.

Not the best, but not the worst either
Format: Hardcover
By any means not the funniest book in the series, only the one on Krusty the Clown was more un-funny; but still a worthy addition to your collection and, just like all the others from the series providing a retrospective of anecdotes you might have forgotten.

Not that great
Huge "The Simpsons" fan. I watched all the episodes and read a lot of the comics and enjoy most. This one however was quite boring. Turns out I'm just not a big fan of Chief Wiggum. I really enjoyed The "Homer" and "Bart" book. But not this one. Maybe if you love Wiggum you'll love it. If you're not too fond of him then I wouldn't buy it.

Good for my collection.
Format: Hardcover
This was another quick and entertaining read. This instalment wasn't as enjoyable as some of the other books but it was still good. I'm glad to have it in my collection.
