The CameraRibbon QRC Shoulder Rig Camera Support for Canon C100/C300/C500 is a lightweight and compact padded shoulder support for ENG style shooting with available Canon C100/C300/C500 cameras. The support is made from a single strip of 1/8" aluminum and designed specifically for the increased base to lens center height of the Canon Cinema EOS cameras; it is not intended for use with other cameras. The QRC rig takes the strain off the camera operator's wrist, hands, and back with a counterbalanced and padded shoulder support. It features a sturdy 1" diameter, solid aluminum, rubber-covered hand grip and a small, vinyl-covered, lead counterweight is mounted low on the back of the support for counterbalance.
The rig's design allows four points of contact with the operator for stable handheld shots, while maintaining a comfortable and balanced posture for the videographer. The included standard length quick-release plate features a 1/4"-20 mounting screw. The QR plate adapter (mounted to the support) features a locking lever, safety release, and two accessory mounting points - 1 x 1/4"-20 and 1 x 3/8"-16. The QRC includes hook and loop adhesive so you can attach a wireless microphone system to the rig. The included counterweight, balances the camera on the rig, an available second counterweight can be added to counterbalance heavier loads such as when using accessories.
