Julia Purinton — "Mountain Spring" is a compelling example of contemporary painterly landscapes that draw from the Impressionist tradition of capturing light and atmosphere. The work aligns with the painterly aesthetic of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, emphasizing the sensory experience of a place over precise topographical accuracy. Compositionally, the piece is structured with an asymmetric balance, where the dense cluster of white blossoms in the foreground creates a powerful visual anchor, drawing the viewer's eye into the verdant middle ground. The artist employs a thick impasto technique, with visible, expressive brushstrokes that lend a textural quality to the foliage and sky, enhancing the sense of immediacy. The color palette is dominated by a harmonious interplay of cool greens and blues, punctuated by the bright, high-value white of the blossoms, creating a moderate contrast that is both dynamic and soothing. This deliberate use of color and texture evokes a specific time and place, capturing the ephemeral beauty of springtime in a mountainous region. Historically, the work situates itself within the lineage of American landscape painting, particularly the tradition of capturing the natural world with a personal, emotional resonance, while simultaneously engaging with the broader international trends of contemporary figurative art.For more art by Julia Purinton click here.

Surprisingly versatile net — works great for storage and organization
This cargo net turned out to be far more versatile than I expected. While it’s marketed for a truck bed, I used it as a vertical storage solution and it worked incredibly well.
The net has enough stretch to securely hold shoes, bedding, and soft items while still keeping everything visible and accessible. The attachment points made it easy to customize the fit, and it’s held up well without sagging.
If you need a flexible way to contain loose items and maximize space, this net can be adapted for more than just vehicle use. It’s a simple product, but very effective.

Great cargo net!
I have been using this cargo net extensively for the last 8 months and it is fantastic! We are gradually moving to a new home 3 hours away, so I use this every single trip (at least 20 so far). It has performed flawlessly-maintains its shape, no defects, and is a critical part of our move.

Great Cargo Net for the Price! 👍
This item is nice and appears to be high quality compared to others that cost way more. So for $15 you cannot ask for better. Now how it holds up over time is another story. My last one was so dry rotted and it stayed stored inside the pocket of my door for several years. Regardless for only$15 if you get 1 year out of it you got your money's worth. Just purchase a new one. As far as seams, stitching and elasticity, it's very good. Carabiners are black coated what looks and feels like aluminum but cannot confirm. The quality as they open and close feel solid. Again time will tell. I would definitely recommend this net. The only negative is the bag it comes in is garbage and cheaply made. It's like dollar general plastic toiletries bag.
