In 1980 I left the comfort of family, friends and a good job in England to embark on a series of overland adventures; adventures that would ultimately take me around the world. I had the privilege of experiencing international travel before the advent of mass tourism. In a time before Lonely Planet and Google drew the maps, every trip was an exploration. It was an amazing time to travel. It was a time when most Indians rode on bicycles, the Turkish coastline of the Mediterranean wasn't packed cheek-by-jowl with apartment blocks, and backpacking was the only way to reach many exotic destinations. I was lucky to experience a time before mass air travel, before the internet, before the sameness that permeates so many places now. These early experiences of travelling shaped the rest of my life. What I took away from this time of adventure were my memories, boxes of slides, and a pile of travel diaries. The diaries languished in the bottom of a box for years, unread. But I rediscovered them, in later life, when I turned to sorting through my accumulated possessions. In my diaries, I found a detailed journal of overland travel in the 1980s; a record of adventures that can no longer be experienced. This book revives those memories of carefree adventure. It describes a journey from London to Australia overland and back through Central America. An account based on the diaries I wrote, the slides I took, and the postcards I collected. It grows out of those faint echoes of overland travel.Shipping Notes

Best tumbler I've ever owned
I use this tumbler as a travel cup for my coffee primarily. I have also drank cold beverages out of it. Both are satisfying experiences. Why does this product appeal to me so much that I would buy one, recieve it and then buy another? Because they got it RIGHT.
They didn't waste time trying to put a handle on it that would be too big for some hands and too small for others. Instead, they put a grip surface on it that is comfortable and secure with or without gloves. A cup for all seasons and working men and women of America.
The lid screws on, and the drink spout cover snaps in place open and closed. Even better, it doesn't rub on your nose when you drink out of it. Stainless steel inside and out, except for the thick lid and grip surface. Keeps coffee hot way longer than I'm used to, but don't know for sure how long because I don't waste much time drinking it. I have one for my truck and one for my Jeep so I'll never be without it. Yeah. Love it that much. I don't use the provided rare earth magnets for the cup, but I put them to good use elsewhere. I can see where they would come in handy in the construction or other trades. I use the cups on my commute, around the house, and while enjoying the outdoors.
Keep up the good work, people!

These are really cool
Size: One Size
What a cool set of grill tools! They say USA made, but the parts are from all over, one says made in China and the other says made in Taiwan, lol. Doesn’t matter, they are real Klein tools, well made stuff.

Klein Quality . . . For BBQ
Size: One Size
Well constructed—feels like the material the screwdrivers are made of but with BBQ extensions. Exceeded expectations on quality.
