COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Improve Organisational Learning course. This program will equip you with the understanding, frameworks, and practical strategies required to strengthen learning capability across teams and organisational systems. You will explore how organisations acquire, share, and apply knowledge; how learning improves decision-making, innovation, and performance; and how leaders can build environments where learning is continuous, collaborative, and strategically aligned. This course also examines how individual, group, and organisational learning intersect to create cultures that adapt to change, solve problems effectively, and continuously improve.

This course begins by examining what organisational learning is and what organisational learning theory explains about how learning is created, stored, and used within organisations. You will explore why organisational learning is important, how organisations learn through experience, systems, and shared processes, and what organisational learning is not—clarifying misunderstandings that often limit learning effectiveness. This section also explains the five main activities through which organisations learn, the difference between organisational learning and individual training, and how organisational learning is the result of an ongoing, long-term process rather than isolated events. You will explore the principles of organisational learning and the three levels of organisational learning complexity, followed by how organisations develop the ability to learn how to learn through reflection, adaptation, and strategic inquiry. You will also examine the barriers that prevent learning and how they affect performance.

The next learning area shifts focus to individual learning principles. You will explore the principles of individual learning, the principles of adult learning, and the ground rules that enable effective small-group learning. This section also examines the conditions required for organisational learning to occur and the core competencies that support organisational learning, including critical thinking, systems awareness, communication capability, and a willingness to challenge existing assumptions. You will then explore guidelines for using feedback productively, how managers demonstrate model learning behaviours, and a wide range of strategies for individual learning. These include personal visioning, individualised learning plans, the learning acquisition and transfer process, self-reflection, logs, diaries and journals, instructor-led seminars and workshops, job rotation, and individual coaching and mentoring strategies.

A further part of the program explores how to design learning systems that strengthen workplace capability. You will learn how to create an effective instructional program that builds job skills and improves workplace collaboration by using clear learning objectives, structured practice, reinforcement, and application. This section also examines the importance of listening effectively in organisational learning, along with practical tips for strengthening listening skills to support deeper understanding and stronger team communication.

You will then explore strategies for small-group learning, including shared vision development, self-directed action learning, group action learning, continuous measurement, and structured reflection and dialogue strategies. This section explains how to assess and measure your own team’s progress, the difference between debate and dialogue, and the guidelines that support productive small-group dialogue where insights are shared openly and learning is collectively developed.

The final learning area focuses on whole-organisation learning strategies. You will examine tools and approaches such as causal loop analysis, benchmarking processes, and world café strategies, all of which help organisations broaden perspectives, analyse patterns, and generate collective insights. These strategies support system-wide learning that strengthens organisational decision-making, reduces siloed thinking, and helps teams collaborate to solve complex challenges.

By the end of this course you will be able to understand how organisational learning works, apply learning principles at individual, team, and organisational levels, design learning processes that build capability, use feedback and dialogue effectively, measure learning progress, and implement whole-organisation learning strategies that strengthen adaptability, innovation, and long-term performance.

Excellent privacy shade.
Color: Coal Black
This delivered on exactly what it promises. So happy with the quality for the value. The shades are a fabric, nylon like, that are attached with a pocket on one end and velcro that adheres around the bar on the other. This was incredibly easy and straightforward to put together. Every piece was clearly labeled, coordinated with the instruction sheet, and fit perfectly. Honestly, I wasn’t planning to leave a review but I was so impressed by how clearly labeled and well explained the instructions were that I felt compelled to note it. Especially for anyone who doesn’t like putting things together, or is used to subpar instructions, this is leagues above the rest. It’s such a simple build anyway, but after buying so many things that barely fit as they should, this stands out. It is lightweight and easy to move. Offers privacy when opened, then can be folded out of the way. It looks exactly as pictured. No complaints, it’s a solid item and worth the price.

Decent quality for the price
Color: Grey
Decent quality for the price. Other privacy screens were extremely out of my budget, but this looks and works just fine- I just needed something simple to place behind my couch to hide some clutter. It took me about a half hour to assemble, but it was easy enough. It might be due to my carpeting, but I don't trust that the screen would be stable enough to stand freely without falling. Thankfully my plan all along was to wedge the screen between the couch and a box of clutter anyway, so for me it works as l'd planned!

Overpriced but effective.
Color: Cream
I happened to get lucky and get a warehouse deal at an additional 30% discount. Even at $25, it feels a little overpriced. But it was easy to assemble and serves its purpose. If you line the Velcro up exactly, the panels sag, if you stretch past even, but where it still grips, they look pretty ok. It is very light and does fold very compact for easy storage.

Great price for a great product
Color: Coal Black
Excellent quality and great price to boot. Easy to assemble and folds up easily to be stored. We are using it as a privacy screen when we have company that needs to sleep on the couch and also to block off a hallway leading to a guest suite. It looks great and is as described in the ad

No.

This was horribly made and a nightmare to put together. You have to basically bend the bars to get the coverings attached. The sizes don't match. The stickers that label the parts are impossible to remove and if you do get them off theres a lot of residue left behind. On top of that once it was put together I noticed theres a big dirty foot print on it which is definitely not mine.
