This high speed is achieved above all by the very open-pored sponge, which was additionally tuned – not visible, but clearly detectable by the smell.
The upper rubber has quite long inward-facing bumps and is very elastic. However, the grip is somewhat reduced in favour of the pace. It is therefore at the level of many German tensor coverings, comparable to the grip of the SpinLord Irbis or the SpinLord Tanuki. The entire playing behaviour is also comparable to coverings from German production. This means that this flooring is also in direct competition with the Palio AK47 blue / yellow / red. Compared to these, the slow Presto Spin is a bit faster, but with a little less effect and similarly high control values. Compared to SpinLord's pads, the Presto Spin is faster than the Irbis, but slightly slower than the Tanuki.
Here at the Presto Spin we offer the variant with a 42 degree hard sponge, which is the softest version. As a result, the ball stop is also quite soft overall, slightly harder than the SpinLord Tanuki or Irbis, but softer than the Friendship 729 Battle.
Presto Spin and Speed do not differ by the sponge, but by the upper rubber, which is thicker with the Presto Spin than with the Presto Speed (= slightly longer ball contact time and thus more spin and control at a slightly lower speed).
