"Wine lovers", says the Financial Times, "would be fools to ignore what the smaller domaines of the South of France have to offer. This is France's hidden treasure - handcrafted wines that over deliver on price"

Collection includes:

1 x Calmel & Joseph 'Caramany' Côtes du Roussillon Villages 2016 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert & Gaillard

AWARDED 94/100 POINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2018

AWARDED 91/100 POINTS: Wine Enthusiast Magazine

"It is complex and enticing on the nose showing dark mushroom, warm spice, leather and vanilla characters with sweet berry notes. The palate delivers excellent weight and depth, together with plush mouthfeel and a lingering silky finish. Wonderfully fruited and richly savoury" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2018

A lovely blend of 40% Syrah - 30% Carignan - 30% Grenache Noir then all of the wine is aged for 12 months in barrels used that are one year old.

1 x Domaine Lafage Côtes Catalanes Narassa 2017 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Grenaches du Monde 2018

AWARDED 94/100 Points: Jeb Dunnuck

"I’ve raved time and time again about the quality - and value - coming from Domaine Lafage’s Jean-Marc Lafage. Almost too good to be true, the 2017 Narassa is based on 82% Grenache and 18% Syrah, with the Grenache coming from the black slate soils of Maury and the Syrah from the higher elevation, sandy, granitic soils of Saint Martin de Fenouillet. Brought up all in used barrels, this full-bodied, deep, meaty Syrah reminds me a top California GSM blend and has a rocking nose of white pepper, black olives, cedarwood, and ample black fruits. At this quality, they could charge three to four times the price. Drink it over the coming 3-4 years" Jeb Dunnuck

1 x Maison Bouachon 'Jardin de Saint Pierre' Organic Côtes du Rhône 2017 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert & Gaillard 2018

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Mundus Vini 2018

Blackberries, graphite, new leather, and assorted peppery notes all emerge from the Maison Bouachon 'Jardin de Saint Pierre' Organic Côtes du Rhône. Medium-bodied, fleshy, and ready to go, with notable purity of fruit, it's a great introduction to the style of this domaine.

1 x Brechet 'Plateau des Chênes' Lirac 2016 (France)

AWARDED 93/100 Points: Jeb Dunnuck

While the Brechet Family is best known for their Châteauneuf du Papes and Gigondas, they make two terrific wines from holdings in Lirac.

The uniquely, Syrah-dominant, Lirac rouge from Laurent Brechet stands apart from many of the wines in the appellation which generally and primarily are Grenache-based wines. Deeper in color with floral and spicy aromas, this Lirac is purple in color with remarkable freshness.

1 x Maison Bouachon 'Les Rabassieres' Côtes du Rhône 2017 (France)

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Gilbert & Gaillard 2018

AWARDED GOLD MEDAL: Decanter World Wine Awards 2018

AWARDED 95/100 Points: Decanter World Wine Awards 2018

This luscious red perfectly captures the ripeness, depth and sheer drinkability of the best Côtes du Rhônes. Made from the usual suspects from this part of France - Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault. This beauty has rich, ripe flavours of spiced blackberry, raspberry and redcurrant. Lovely, long, smooth and silky on the palate but with plenty of structure making it feel more serious than the price tag suggests.

1 x Domaine Giraud Lirac 'Les Sables d’Arène' 2018 (France)

AWARDED 90/100 POINTS: JebDunnuck.com

"The 2018 Lirac Les Sables d'Arene was also brought up in a mix of concrete and used barrels. It’s a winner in just about every vintage, and the 2018 has loads to love, with perfumed strawberry fruits, spring flowers, and spice, a Pinot Noir-like elegance, fine tannins, and a solid finish" Jeb Dunnuck

Domaine Giraud are best known for  Châteauneuf-du-Pape releases, a number getting the perfect 100/100 over the years.  Marie Giraud also makes a terrific Lirac. The 2018 Les Sables d'Arène comes all from Lirac and is a blend of 80% Grenache and 10% each of Syrah and Mourvèdre, aged all in concrete.

Fae Courts with High Intrigue
Format: Kindle
This book is one that just builds and builds and then surprises you to no end. You may think you know the villains and then you are jolted in another direction. Princess Reyna is a real gem, strong of character, a fierce fighter, and loyal to her family and kingdom. Just when you think she and Lorcan, well you know, the plot is flipped. Can't wait to see where this goes in book two.

Slow, sorry but good
Format: Kindle
This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!

Interesting
Format: Kindle
This was a very captivating book once you got into it thoroughly. But the third person perspective was a bit hard to get used to. But as you got into it and followed the different characters, it was interesting and filled with intrigue, conflict and forbidden love. I can’t wait to read the next one and to complete the series.

Addicting!
Format: Kindle
I could not stop reading. It was so refreshing to have a series start so completely different than most fated mates/fantasy academy rh I’ve been reading. From the desert scenery to the magic and feeding plus the psychological trauma the characters are there to deal with. Pandora is absolutely adorable and I totally relate to hiding behind my hair. I love that she’s literally the most scary type of demon but it’s not the usual “badass mc” persona (which I do love a badass that can fend for herself and kick ass from the start but it was a nice change of pace). I’m not usually a big fan of bully within the harem but each character has their reasons for their actions and also conflicting feelings about them. I adore Dex and Reed! Complete opposites but their personalities and inner monologues made them instant favs. I can’t wait to see the character growth with the guys and continued strength for Pandora. The captivating characters and references to the Fate Hallow series added so much depth and now I need another reread while I wait for book 2. The concept of magic and the unique feeding habits of the demon characters were intriguing. I can't wait for the next book to continue this thrilling journey. In summary, this book is a must-read for fantasy and magic academy rh fans. With its enchanting characters, nods to the Fate Hallow series, and imaginative concepts, it offers an immersive reading experience that hwill leave you craving for more.
