Installation Guide

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the engine cover.
2. Shift the outboard into neutral and remove the bolts securing the lower unit (gearcase).
3. Carefully separate the lower unit from the upper casing, watching for the shift shaft and speedometer tube.
4. Place the lower unit on a workbench and remove the bolts for the water pump housing.
5. Slide the housing up and off the driveshaft to expose the impeller. Note the rotational direction of the old impeller vanes.
