This Flo-Torq Reflex Hub Kit (835257K12) is designed for a wide range of outboard motors, including 40–60 HP 4-stroke Mercury and Mariner outboards (excluding Bigfoot or Command Thrust), 30 HP 4-stroke Mercury and Mariner (1994–2005), 30–60 HP 2-stroke Mercury and Mariner (1997 and newer), 25 HP Mercury Bigfoot and Mariner Command Thrust, and 55 HP Mercury Sea Pro and Mariner Marathon. Installation Guide
- Disconnect the spark plug wire or disable the ignition system to prevent accidental engine start during installation.
- Remove the old propeller by loosening and removing the prop nut and any washers. Keep track of the order of components.
- Slide off the old propeller and hub assembly from the propeller shaft.
- Clean the propeller shaft thoroughly, removing any debris, corrosion, or old grease.
