Yesterday I finally decided to give it a try and I have to say, BOY WAS I WRONG, this is probably the best hair product I’ve used in 15 years. Gives a natural matte look to your hair, it’s not greasy, gives plenty of volume and holds your styling in place in a very natural manner. The product also smells pretty good, HIGHLY recommend if you’re having doubts.

This is great stuff, great hold without being greasy or turning your hair into spikes. No pungent odors. It's noted that it includes pine and sandalwood oil. There's definitely some pine, not getting any sandalwood. Regardless, it isn't a strong scent and that's how it should be. The tin is almost exactly the size of a snuff can. Expensive. But you don't really use much of it at one time.

When my go-to pomade was discontinued, I had to start the search all over again. After seeing several ads for Highland Glacial Hair Clay Pomade on social media, I decided to give it a try and ordered a tin. Right out of the can, you can tell this product is different. When first applied, the hold feels strong and structured. As the day goes on, it relaxes slightly but still keeps your hair in place without looking stiff or overly styled. I appreciate that it maintains shape while allowing a more natural finish as the hours pass. It is more expensive than some other options out there, but in my opinion, the performance justifies the price. For reference, my hair is short—slightly longer than a typical military regulation cut—so this review reflects how it performs on shorter styles. Overall, I’m happy with the switch and would recommend Highland Glacial Hair Clay Pomade to anyone looking for a strong, workable hold with a natural feel.
