Risk of maceration can be managed if the dressing is not left in place for longer than 4 days. Patented cross linked hydrophilic polymer is used to both manage exudate and promote moist wound healing by absorbing excess exudate while at the same time, donating moisture back to the wound. These balls are easily visible and excellent in situations where green balls may be difficult to find.
I only take these balls out to play fetch. The balls only last a couple of fetch sessions before being destroyed.
