That's an unconscious energy vampire. Others do it with intention. Those with more training or skills can take your luck. Suddenly nothing will be working right for you. The Vampiric Protection attunement will surround you and your energy with a protective barrier that will seal your energy in. You should use it regularly. At least once a day. If you are around a lot of people or going into a crowd you may want to do it right before and again after you get out. The more hits your shield takes the weaker it will get. The energy is infinite so don't worry if you have to take a moment and reapply it.
