Artisan History
Solyfonte creates unique and exclusive collections for S.T. Dupont’s and this collection is no exception. Since 1985, Solyfonte has been creating art pieces in brass, bronze and silver for the greatest French luxury brands.
Today, Christophe Saint Romain and his team master the ancestral knowledge of the art of molten metal. Their expertise in ancient art mixed with modern technology allows them to push the limits of their creativity every day, their unbridled imagination has no limits.
One of Christophe’s most famous technique is the art of patina. In his studio in central France, he implements the use of acids and other products to create patinas so deep they seem to give life and movement to the sculptural elements of each lighter.
A Perfect Ergonomic Design
A shock-proof white or yellow bronze bumper featuring a black patina that creates a sculptural effect that accentuates each lighters design. The bumper also protects the lighter and guarantees an excellent grip. The innovative design makes it particularly easy to hold and use. This collection features S.T. Dupont's inversion safety, which locks the ignition while the lighter is inverted, keeping the lighter from lighting accidentally.

- Withstands Extreme Temperatures - Whether temperatures are nearing 14°F or +113°F, the Defi XXtreme is always operational. Faultless functioning is guaranteed by a new fuel specifically developed by S.T. Dupont that allows the lighter to withstand extreme shifts in temperature.
