A New Angle is filled with magician foolers, hard-hitting practical effects for laymen, and off-the-wall new ideas to springboard your own creativity. Many of the effects are all three of the above. That's because the authors have dusted off a secret weapon that you probably already have buried in the back of your magic drawer: The Stripper Deck (AKA the Tapered Deck, Shaved Deck, Wizard Deck).
Written by Ryan Plunkett and Michael Feldman, photographed by James Murphy, designed by Heather Wood, edited by Susan Palmer Marshall and Pedro Nieves-Bosque, with a foreword by Lance Pierce, A New Angle contains more than twenty routines and concepts, with additional contributions by Harapan Ong, Edward Boswell, Nathan Colwell, Frank Fogg, and Brian O'Neill.
By combining subtleties, sleight of hand and new ideas with this nearly forgotten tool that every serious magician already owns, Ryan and Michael will show you how to unlock mind-blowing effects you never thought possible. They invite you to work through the material proposed and search for your own angle in other overlooked places.

"A New Angle strips the dust off of a forgotten gem-something that delighted and deceived you when you first saw it utilized. Ryan and Michael have taken this angled artifice and have added their creativity to it. This book is worth studying-you will be inspired to grab your old deck and make something new!"
- Jim Krenz
"Plunkett and Feldman have helped wipe the dust off a widely unused tool. The results: a strong collection of fooling card magic."
- Jared Kopf
"This is the real work on an overlooked principle. I was delighted with the routines and the thought that Michael and Ryan put into this collection."
- Joshua Jay
"They smoked me even when I knew they were using strippers. Imagine when I didn't!"
- Tyler Wilson
"Great ideas that turn a classic into a miracle."
- Marcus Eddie
"A New Angle is long overdue. It won't collect dust on your bookshelf--just like your stripper deck will no longer be hidden away in your drawer. Diabolical stuff."
- Steve Reynolds
"The Feldman and The Plunkett have cut every corner to bring you the most cutting edge angles on the stripper deck. Around every corner is just more awesome with a tapered side of awesome! I thought this book was about strippers? What am I going to do with all the old crinkled one dollar bills I've been saving?"
- Ricky Smith
"Ryan and Michael have put together a superb collection of work dedicated to rediscovering and developing a very old tool. It's inspiring to see what they did with what the magic world has deemed pedestrian and obsolete. This project invites you to work through the material proposed and search for your own angle in other overlooked places."
- Pipo Villanueva

The Best for My Furry Friend
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
As a pet owner who always seeks the best for my furry friend, I decided to try out the Scott Pet GRILLERZ Pig Ears 12CT, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations.
**Quality and Flavor:**
The pig ears come in a pack of twelve, and each ear is substantial in size and weight, indicating a high-quality product. My dog was instantly attracted to the aroma and flavor. Unlike some other treats, these pig ears are roasted to perfection, ensuring a rich and savory taste that my dog can't get enough of.
**Health Benefits:**
One of the standout features of Scott Pet GRILLERZ Pig Ears is their natural composition. They are free from artificial preservatives, flavors, and colors, making them a healthy and safe option for my dog. Additionally, these treats help promote dental health by reducing plaque and tartar buildup as my dog chews on them.
**Longevity:**
These pig ears are long-lasting, providing my dog with hours of enjoyment. This is particularly beneficial for keeping him occupied and mentally stimulated, which is crucial for his overall well-being. I have found that one ear can keep my dog entertained for a significant amount of time, making it a cost-effective treat option.
**Packaging:**
The packaging is sturdy and resealable, ensuring the treats remain fresh between uses. This is a thoughtful touch that I appreciate, as it maintains the quality of the product over time.
**Price:**
Considering the quality and quantity of the pig ears, the price point is quite reasonable. It offers great value for money, especially when compared to other similar products on the market.
**Conclusion:**
Overall, the Scott Pet GRILLERZ Pig Ears 12CT are a fantastic choice for any dog owner looking to provide their pet with a delicious and healthy treat. The quality, flavor, and health benefits make it a top-notch product that I highly recommend. My dog loves them, and I am confident that your pet will too!

Healthy, natural treat my dogs actually love—no mess!
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1), Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
These pig ears are the perfect natural alternative to rawhide. All three of my dogs go crazy for them, and I feel good giving them a single-ingredient treat.
What I used them for:
Occasional chew treats for my three dogs.
Pros:
Single-ingredient, natural treat
Dogs love the taste and texture
Doesn’t stain or leave a mess despite slobber
Good size for medium to large dogs
Cons:
Can be a bit odorous out of the bag (minor)
Real experience:
I’ve given these to all three dogs multiple times, and each one enjoys them equally. Unlike some rawhide or flavored chews, these don’t leave stains or get mushy—cleanup is easy, which I really appreciate.
Comparison:
Much healthier and cleaner than rawhide chews or flavored alternatives, but still keeps dogs occupied for a similar amount of time.
Final verdict:
If you want a natural, low-mess chew for dogs who love to gnaw, these pig ears are a solid choice.

Nice Enough for the price!
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1), Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
Good price, not all are big though. But, they look like nice pigs ears and we got 13 instead of 12 (Oliver is eating one as I type so it’s not include in my pic, lol). I will order another bag fr his Christmas gift to share with his dog buddies.

Yummy pigs ear
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
These are my dogs "special" treat. These range in size from large to small ears but my dog loves them all the same. Great for heavy chewers.

One-and-done treat for giant breeds (our 186lb foster approves)
Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1), Flavor Name: Pig Ears, Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
We foster a 186lb Saint Bernard, and finding treats that actually satisfy her without requiring half the bag has been a challenge. These pig ears? Game changer.
What makes these work:
- ONE ear = one satisfied dog (compared to other treats where the bag says “35 per day” and she’d still beg for more)
- Keeps her busy for about 5 minutes of focused chewing
- She does a little excited dance when she sees the bag—can’t even sit, just wiggles
- Zero crumbs or mess because she devours every single bit, then spends the next hour sniffing around hoping another one appears
- She immediately grabs it and heads to her favorite bed to settle in—doesn’t move until it’s gone
The only “issue”:
There’s a bit of oil/greasiness when handling them, but nothing a quick hand wash can’t fix (Mrs. Meyer’s Cucumber soap works great, just saying).
Bottom line: If you have a giant breed and you’re tired of buying treats that require multiple servings or disappear in one bite, these are it. One ear, complete satisfaction, Subscribe & Save so they just show up like a present you forgot you ordered. Our girl Ellie gives them 186 pounds of approval.
