Areas of application
Black Silicone Sealing Compound is exceptionally well-suited to sealing housings on engines, transmissions, differentials, end covers, oil pans, valve covers, water pumps, battery boxes, headlights and other lights, etc.
Application
The surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free of oil and grease. Remove cap and turn cartridge tip by 90°. Apply material evenly and immediately join parts without flash-off time. After applying, turn cartridge tip by 90° again and press cap onto nozzle.
Note:
Insufficient adhesion on substrates such as PP, PE, Teflon and bitumen can be expected. This is why we recommend that you carry out an adhesion test prior to application.
