The American version of this film was made in 2023, starring Woody Harrelson.
Campeones tells the story of a group of extraordinary people for whom winning is not always the most important thing. Thanks to basketball, a universal sport, Campeones imparts a valuable lesson about sportsmanship, teamwork, and the relative nature of the word "normal". It is a Spanish film full of one hundred percent universal values."
—Pau Gasol, former NBA basketball player
"I highly recommend watching Campeones, a story where sports mean becoming better, working as a team, and learning from each other.”
—Rafa Nadal, tennis player and winner of 22 Grand Slams
