Hebrews 12:1-3
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
Think of all the hostility He endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up.
One of many great qualities I like and appreciate about my relationship with my brother-in-law's is how easliy we dive into deep conversations about our roles in the world as men of God. We usually walk away from every conversation with someone offering a nugget of wisdom that gives the others something to chew on long after the conversation is over. One day while riding around with Adam, he said something I’ll never forget. “You know, Glenn, people put periods a lot on their stories in life.” In the days that followed I began to think of the many times I applied a period to my own stories. I admit, at the time I thought it was the end of the story. Truth is, God was simply starting a new chapter.
Scripture tells us in Philippians 1:6 that no ones life is complete until we meet Jesus face to face. To this day, when things of the world began to entangle me and I find myself ready to put a period on a situation, Adam's wisdom spoken that day along with the scripture verse helps untangle me. I no longer put periods where periods don’t belong. I believe God gave me that profound conversation so I would be able to enjoy more of my journey in life trusting the author and perfector of our faith - Jesus.
The other morning, I read Luke 6 and Hebrews 12. As I was looking for a correlation between the two I realized Jesus was teaching those around Him the importance of knowing this isn’t our home but a training ground here on earth. In Hebrews the author says throw off the the things that trip you, that stop you in your tracks. Perhaps He was encouraging us to get rid of all the periods in our story allowing something worthy to be written in Him.

Responsible manufacturer, target gut health, moderately effective
I take probiotics for my gut health and feminine balance. These probiotics have a broad-spectrum of strains that benefit both areas, primarily the gut. The dose is a single, smooth capsule a day, but the capsule is large for a probiotic. Still, it's easy to swallow, has no taste and has a pleasant, light scent due to the pineapple. I take these probiotics with food and find some improvement in my GI issues but they do not eliminate gas. I have no side effects. So for me they are moderately effective. I like the Vitalibre company and line of products because they are made in GMP facilities, are lab-tested and non-GMO. Each bottle is printed with the Lot Number and Expiration Date, which is well over 2 years in the future. So, I have confidence in the ingredients and manufacturing of this supplement. At approx. 50 cents per day, they're affordable and definitely worth a try

Fun probiotic
My favorite part about this one is that it’s a one pill dose. I take more pills than ideal so anything that only requires one pill is a selling point for me. As a probiotic, I’m giving it 5 stars for meeting expectations based on the listing even though it’s probably a 4 star product for me personally.
This comes in a surprisingly compact capsule. I’m not an expert of all the options available on the market currently but it’s one of the smallest shelf stable probiotics I’ve taken on top of only requiring one pill a day. There is a mild scent and taste that I assume is due to the pineapple powder. It’s not distinctly pineapple but it has a hint of the sharpness. That said, I didn’t find either the flavor or scent strong enough to be off putting.
Effectiveness is a little more nebulous. I didn’t have any negative effects and my gi tract seems to be running smoothly. 25 billion cfus is lower than what I find to be an optimal dose for my system but I wanted to try it out to see if 50 billion was overkill. I think the higher dose is a better fit for me because while things were fine on this, I feel like it did see even more improvement at my prior level. That said, this could be a great option for someone who wants a little more than a low, baseline dose but may be too sensitive for the 50 billion and higher options.
Value is decent. It’s not the absolute cheapest but hangs out in the bottom half of the price per dose spread I’m familiar with.
