Tasting Notes: 

Nose: Down among the flowers: touches of jasmine, and clove, combined with peach and plums. The old maturation of this Cognac has given it its vanilla aroma and this light and sweet aroma that only an old Cognac has. Palate: The outstanding point is probably the great elegance which is one of the major characteristics of the Premier Cru Grande Champagne, fully represented here by the delicacy of aromas as well as the subtlety of its palate.

Voyer Extra Old Grand Cru

The Francois Voyer XO Grand Cru Cognac is an one hundred percent Grande Champagne blend that has been aged beautifully. The eaux-de-vies contained within the blend are aged for three years in younger Limousin oak casks, then are transferred to older barrels in a humid cellar to continue the aging process. Using distillation with lees, the progressive reduction with distilled water is what makes this a fine Cognac. This is a technique that goes hand in hand with Voyer refinement and expertise.
