KOI All Weather Bangles® are the first ever bangle to boast two colors of foil in one bangle. A meticulous process takes place in order to achieve this fabulous combination of gold leaf foil and black foil, creating a natural pattern reminiscent of majestic koi fish. Each bangle is one-of-a-kind, with over 20 artisans completing every bangle and taking twice as long to craft as our original AWB, making KOI AWB® rare and limited. Our distinctive BuDhaGirl enamel chop bead seals the bangle.

The koi fish’s origins are steeped in ancient Chinese myth and legend. Over two millennia ago, wild carp swam the Yellow River, leading to the tale of Koi striving to leap the Dragon Gate waterfall. Many koi gave up, but a determined few continued their arduous journey. Their perseverance impressed celestial beings, who transformed the successful Koi into majestic dragons, symbolizing strength and divine power.
