The Tallahasee, Florida natives, Derek Sanders, Jeremy Lenzo, Alex Garcia, Brooks Betts, and Jake Bundrick, began their journey with an independentally released EP. The huge success soon led to their debut album, A Lesson In Romantics, with Fearless Records. The versatile pop rock album, reminiscent of the All American Rejects, created a huge buzz within the music scene, selling over 130,000 records. Touring with bands such as All Time Low, The Maine, Metro Station, and others while on the 2008 Vans Warped Tour, has exposed Mayday Parade to audiences across the nation. Their edgy take on the classic alt rock genre has taken their music above and beyond where any rising band has ever been before.
