Canon XA70 Overview

Kamera video Canon XA70 Professional UHD 4K adalah kamera ringkas dan ringan yang dilengkapi dengan perekaman UHD 4K, sensor CMOS 1 inci, dua input audio XLR, dan satu output mini-HDMI yang sangat cocok untuk kategori ENG (Electronic News Gathering) untuk produksi dokumenter atau jurnalistik. Diperbarui dari pendahulunya, XA55, model ini memiliki layar sentuh kapasitif LCD 3,5 mm yang lebih besar, EVF (Electronic Viewfinder) OLED 0,36 inci yang dapat dimiringkan dengan resolusi lebih tinggi, perekaman metadata OSD, dan output video USB Type-C cepat dengan dukungan UVC untuk siaran langsung ke komputer.

Optik lensa mencakup zoom optik HD 15x terintegrasi, iris melingkar sembilan bilah untuk sorotan yang lebih alami, dan dukungan gamma DR lebar untuk perekaman cahaya rendah. Fitur-fitur bergaya profesional kamera ini meliputi autofokus Dual-Pixel dan Kontras, perekaman gerak cepat dan lambat, kontrol manual penuh, stabilisasi gambar optik dan elektronik, LCD layar sentuh 3,5 inci, tombol yang dapat ditetapkan pengguna, mode inframerah, dan prosesor gambar DIG!C DV 6 dengan sensitivitas tinggi dan noise rendah. Kamera ini dapat menghasilkan video hingga 1920 x 1080p 10-bit 4:2:2 pada 59,94 fps melalui output mini-HDMI-nya. Dari sisi audio, XA70 memiliki hingga empat saluran audio LPCM dengan level perekaman manual/otomatis, dua input XLR dengan daya phantom, dan input mini stereo 3,5 mm. Kamera ini juga dilengkapi mikrofon stereo internal serta jack headphone dan input LANC 2,5 mm untuk kontrol.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
