Soft Merino and Silk Yarn for Lightweight Knitting
This DK weight yarn blends the warmth of merino wool with the subtle sheen and strength of tussah silk. Spun from 80% merino wool and 20% tussah silk, the yarn creates smooth, even stitches with a soft drape and lightweight warmth.
The addition of silk gives the yarn a gentle glow and added durability while maintaining the elasticity and comfort of fine merino wool. The result is a balanced yarn that feels soft against the skin while holding its structure beautifully in finished garments.
Two Skeins Included in Each Pack
Each pack contains two 50-gram skeins, providing 240 yards (220 m) of yarn total. This generous yardage makes it easy to complete scarves, baby garments, and other lightweight projects without needing to purchase multiple individual skeins.
DK weight yarn sits between sport and worsted weight, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of projects. This wool and silk blend is especially well suited for scarves, shawls, lightweight sweaters, baby garments, and other delicate handknits where softness and comfort matter.
