Our Coconut Buckets are completely handmade from reclaimed coconuts from the Bên Tre Region in Vietnam. For many years the local farmers have made a modest income from selling coconuts by products such as coconut oils and coconut milks. Once harvested for their prize possessions, the discarded coconut shells would usually be burned to make way for new crops, this gives the coconuts a whole new lease of life and it gives the farmers and extra bit of income too The handle is made of sustainably sourced bamboo, and the rope is 100% cotton.
