Just like BUFFALO+ this new Anti-Spin rubber BISON+ is an improvement of our well-known rubber BISON.

BISON+ still comes with a softer touch and thus a bit more control.
It will literally "kill" the speed of the oncoming ball while blocking thanks to the absorption power of its dampening sponge, even when used on fast and stiff offensive blades.

Also BISON+ will help you to perform pushing and lifting (especially on chopped balls) as well as slow counter-attacking against float balls.

Our Anti-Spin rubbers BUFFALO+, BISON+ and RHINO+ are renowned to be highly effective when used with celluloid and plastic balls. However they are probably the only rubbers currently on the market that also produce good spin reversal and a low bounce with the new ABS balls.

All in all BISON+ is easy to handle and provides both great control and maximum spin reversal even on fast blades.

Available with dampening sponge with the following thickness: 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8mm
The version with 1.8mm is the slowest, while 1.2mm will produce the best spin reversal.
The 1.5mm sponge version is a very good compromise.

Opener leaves wire threads on the rim of the can when opening. Poses a danger if ingested.

Purchased this item hoping it would make opening cans easier (I have osteoarthritis in my hands). First time I tried it, after it rounded the lid of a can of DelMonte green beans, nothing. I reseated it, and held it down when it started. It opened the can after circling the top two times. When I took the lid off the can, there were tiny wire "threads" stuck on the can, and more stuck on the Kitchen Mama opener. I was able to very carefully wipe the wire threads off and pour the can of beans into my pan. HOWEVER, I will not use this product again. Who wants to run the risk of ingesting wire threads?!!! I would return the product for a refund, but my husband destroyed the box opening it, so this will go into the garbage. I wouldn't sell at a garage sale or donate it, because someone else might ingest the wire threads, and then Kitchen Mama would have a lawsuit on their hands I wouldn't have given ANY stars, but you have to give at least one to write a review.

But honestly maybe what bothers me the most of all is when I contacted customer support about the warranty replacement, I got an email back asking for photographic proof that my BATTERIES WERE IN CORRECTLY. Really? (A photo that I could not provide because it had broken days earlier and I threw it in the trash, who hoards broken appliances?). I really expected better from a ‘reputable’ brand.
