Not a kitchen foaming soap dispenser — though it's the same kind of hardware underneath. This is the pet-bathing version: sized for a 1:6 shampoo-to-water dilution, with an infrared sensor close enough to a wet, soapy hand to register through bubbles.

The reason it exists: when your dog is mid-bath and you've got the showerhead in one hand and a wriggling Spaniel under the other, you don't have a spare hand for a squeeze bottle. PawFoam sits next to the bath. You wave at it. Foam lands. Both your hands stay on the dog.

The 500 ml tank holds enough diluted shampoo for somewhere around fifteen baths before a refill, depending on dog size. The 1800 mAh battery charges over USB and lasts dozens of baths between top-ups. The body is splash-resistant — built to live in a bathroom, not survive a swim — and the housing wipes clean with a damp cloth.

Why owners switch from squeeze bottles

1. Both hands stay on the dog. Wave at the sensor, foam lands on your palm. No bottle to grab, no cap to twist, no slippery thumb-press while the dog is shaking water across the bathroom.

2. Foam covers more dog with less product. Pre-diluted shampoo lathers further across the coat than a thick neat squeeze, and rinses cleaner — fewer suds left behind in undercoats and ear folds.

3. One USB charge lasts dozens of baths. Bathe your dog every weekend? Charge it once a month. There are no batteries to replace and no cable to dangle in the bathwater.

At a glance

  • Tank capacity: 500 ml total — fill to the 350 ml line with water and to 50 ml with shampoo
  • Dilution: 1:6 shampoo to water (the supplier's spec — works for most foaming pet shampoos)
  • Foam dose: consistent palm-sized portion per wave
  • Sensor: infrared proximity at the dispensing nozzle — wave a hand within ~5 cm to dispense
  • Power: 1800 mAh internal battery, USB-rechargeable (cable included; check the listing — confirm in pending)
  • Splash-resistant: designed for bathroom use, not submersion
  • Body: ABS plastic housing, transparent tank with measurement markings
  • What it works with: liquid pet shampoo (foaming-friendly), diluted hand soap, foaming face wash
  • What it doesn't: thick conditioners, creamy / oatmeal-grit shampoos, undiluted neat shampoo
An honest note about which shampoos work in this. Foaming dispensers need liquid shampoo — they whip air through a thin solution to make foam. Most regular pet shampoos and gentle puppy shampoos work well. Thick conditioners, creamy shampoos, and shampoos with grit (oatmeal pieces, exfoliants) will clog the pump. If your usual shampoo is on the thicker side, dilute it 1:6 with warm water in the tank — most will foam fine once thinned. If a particular shampoo doesn't foam through, switch to one that does or keep that one for hand application.

How it works

  1. Fill the tank. Unscrew the base. Add shampoo to the 50 ml line, water to the 350 ml line. Screw back on. Shake gently to mix. The transparent tank has measurement markings printed on it — no guesswork.
  2. Charge it. Plug the USB cable into the back of the unit and a regular USB port. A full charge runs the dispenser for dozens of waves — most owners charge it once a month.
  3. Wave to dispense. Press the power button on the side once to wake the unit. Hold a hand under the nozzle within ~5 cm. Foam lands on your palm. Apply to the dog.

PawFoam vs the squeeze bottle you're using now

PawFoam™ Squeeze bottle
Hands free ✓ Wave to dispense ✗ Need a hand to grab and squeeze
Output ✓ Pre-diluted foam — covers more, rinses cleaner ~ Thick neat shampoo — needs lathering by hand
Dose control ✓ Consistent portion every wave ✗ Whatever ends up in your hand
Wet-hand operation ✓ Sensor reads through soap and bubbles ✗ Slippery cap, slippery grip
Reservoir size ✓ 500 ml — ~15 baths between refills ~ Whatever the bottle came in at

Who this is for

  • Home dog-bathers who do it themselves rather than send the dog to a groomer — and have wrestled a wet dog and a slippery bottle one too many times.
  • Multi-dog households — fill the tank once, work through all the dogs in one session.
  • Owners of long-coated breeds (Cockapoos, Golden Retrievers, Spaniels, Labradoodles) where shampoo distribution matters and undiluted neat soap leaves residue.
  • Puppy owners — diluted foam is gentler than direct neat shampoo on young skin, and one-handed operation matters a lot more when the puppy is mid-flail.
  • Anyone with mobility or grip-strength concerns for whom squeezing a stiff shampoo bottle one-handed is genuinely difficult.

If you bathe your dog once a year at the groomer's, this isn't really for you. The pay-off is in repeated home washes — that's where the convenience compounds.

Questions answered

Will it work with my regular dog shampoo?

If your shampoo is liquid (pours like olive oil rather than ketchup) — yes, almost always. Dilute 1:6 with warm water in the tank, shake gently, and it'll foam through fine. Thick conditioners and shampoos with grit (oatmeal, exfoliants) are the exception — they'll clog the pump. If you're not sure, fill the tank with a small test batch first.

How long does the battery last?

The 1800 mAh internal battery runs the dispenser for dozens of waves on a single charge. Real-world use: most owners who bathe a dog every weekend charge it about once a month. The exact run-time varies with how often you trigger the sensor — if you leave the unit powered on between baths it'll drain faster than if you switch it off after each session.

Can I use it inside the shower?

Sit it on the side of the bath or on a shelf where it'll get splashed but not directly hit by the showerhead. The body is splash-resistant — built for bathroom moisture and incidental splashing — but it's not designed for direct submersion or for the full-pressure spray of a showerhead aimed at it. Treat it like a phone in a bathroom, not like a snorkel.

Is the foam safe for puppies and sensitive skin?

The foam is just whatever shampoo you put in, diluted with water. PawFoam doesn't add anything to the soap — it aerates what's already in the tank. So the safety profile is whatever your chosen shampoo is. For puppies and dogs with sensitive skin, use a gentle puppy or hypoallergenic shampoo formulated for dogs. Don't use human shampoo on dogs (different pH).

Can I switch shampoos between baths?

Yes — empty the tank, rinse it through with warm water (run the pump until clean foam comes out), then refill with the new shampoo. Takes about a minute. If you're cycling between, say, a regular cleansing shampoo and a medicated one prescribed by your vet, this is straightforward.

How do I clean it?

Empty the tank. Fill with warm water and a drop of clean dish soap. Run the pump until water comes out clean. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Don't put any part of it in the dishwasher and don't submerge the head with the sensor and motor — those are the splash-resistant electronics. The transparent tank can be rinsed under the tap.

Can I use it for hand soap or kitchen use too?

Mechanically — yes, it's the same kind of foaming dispenser used in kitchens and bathrooms for hand soap. Practically — we'd keep it as your dog-bath-only dispenser. The pump and tank pick up the scent of pet shampoo over time, and the visual association ("that's the dog one") matters. Keep a separate dispenser in the kitchen.

Try it for 30 days. If your shampoo doesn't foam through, the sensor isn't responsive enough, or the unit doesn't hold up to your bathroom — send it back, full refund. We'd rather take a return than have you wrestling with a bottle for the next year.

Ben Solo’s fall is tragic
Format: Paperback
We don’t know much about Ben Solo’s past, but this comic explains a little bit more about why he is the way he is. It also explains that he didn’t do all the things he himself implies in TLJ. It’s a story of a young man who is lost because those he is supposed to trust betray him, which is exactly what Snoke/Palpatine want. It shows he didn’t really have a choice in the path he took and it makes his redemption at the end of the saga powerful, even if the last movie itself destroys the myth of Star Wars. I love knowing that Rey and Ben have always had a connection and I hope that is something explored more deeply in Episode X when they bring Ben back.

Answers a lot of questions
Format: Kindle
I enjoyed this story. This fills in a lot of gaps left open from the sequel trilogy, and the artwork was pretty cool. Excellent coloring and layout.
