Together with our SpinLord Zeitgeist Stachelfeuer was our first long pimple-out rubber, but it has been upgraded recently.

Our SpinLord Stachelfeuer is the best choice for all players who are looking for a long pimple-out rubber with the slowest possible speed, but still want the rubber to be dangerous. The Stachelfeuer is the slowest long pimple-out rubbers we can offer, and amazingly its destructive effect is still clearly above average.

The pimples have a cylindrical form without any supporting cones at the lower end of the pimples. The tops of the pimples are flat and even slightly sticky. The pimples have a medium width and the space between the pimples is also medium. Actually the shape of the pimples is identical to that of Zeitgeist, only the space between the pimples is lower. The pimples are also a little bit softer and more tacky. The main result of this is that it can be played more versatile, but is also a little bit less insensitive to incoming spin. On the other hand, compared to faster and more dangerous rubbers like the Strahlkraft, the Stachelfeuer is still more insensitive to incoming spin and easier to play altogether.

Altogether the Stachelfeuer can be rated as a dangerous allround rubber with very high control. This rubber allows all kinds of strokes, and all strokes can be played with or without using the wrist.
The Stachelfeuer is the best choice for all players who play a versatile modern defense close to the table and sometimes also defend from mid-distance. The Stachelfeuer is not so perfect for playing block balls as the Zeitgeist or the Dornenglanz, but it is very good also for this and much better for chopping and attacking compared to these rubbers.

Please note the Stachelfeuer is now also available with a fast 1,2 mm "High Tension" sponge. The low speed rating of 2,5 is only valid for the ox version, with this fast sponge the Stachelfeuer is a medium fast rubber.

Durability of the pimples: Very good
Pimple tops: Flat, slightly sticky
Shape of the pimples: Straight

Speed: 55

So far, so good!
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls, Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
Boomer an 8 yr old male Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 105#. When Boomer isn’t duck hunting, he is all about THE BALL. He chews them apart like I own stock. DAY 1 : I’m impressed with the Mankoda . It’s still in one piece. Barely any show of wear. Boomer is carrying it around like a prize, definitely having “a ball”. Needless to say he is loving it. The bright colors are easy to see in the yard. We haven’t played outside so I can’t comment on the bounce. I got the three pack and I feel it’s a reasonable price. I ordered the large ball because Boomer is a big boy. The ball its self is foamy soft to the touch but very firm . Has no smell at least that I can detect . It has little indents on the surface, I agree (with the info) that it will help rub against my boys teeth (brushing time reduced!). You can see them in the picture (the indents not the teeth). The divots you see are from Boomer. But no real damage. I’ll keep updating for a while.

Quality ball - Heeler approved
Pattern Name: 4 Medium balls
My heeler loves this ball He is a huge baller and this balls holds up. Bounces great. Takes a chewing. It’s also lightweight, which is good, because sometimes my aim is bad. The 2.5” is big enough to not roll under the couch. Awesome. The best part is, he has a stash of replacements ready for when he loses it.

Best dog ball ever!
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
We have a border collie and an Australian cattle dog. Both are obsessed with balls and love to play catch. They would destroy all tennis ball including ones for dogs within minutes. These have lasted over a year! They have some teeth marks but still work great! I have just bought a second set as they still tend to get lost from time to time.

These are worth the money!! BUY THEM!!
Pattern Name: 3 Large balls
These balls are amazing if you have a dog that likes to chew! We have 2 medium sized breeds that are heavy heavy chewers and they get so excited when we dig these out from under the couch or tv stand. Most "chew toys" have to find their way to the garbage within a few days. We've had these a little over 2 weeks now and they are holding up great. There are little teeth marks in them but no chunks ripped out and seem to be holding up great. They are a little squishy so I was worried they would get destroyed but nope. They are a little bigger than a tennis ball so I don't have to worry about them choking on them. JUST BUY THEM!!

Nice Ball
Pattern Name: 1 Large ball
Nice light, yet durable ball for my gs/pit mix. He's a year and a half and he plays hard. I really like this ball and I'd buy it again.
