The portable StoreJet 25S3 USB 3.0 Enclosure from Transcend offers an aluminum case to house a 2.5" SATA hard drive or solid-state drive. Once a drive is installed, you can store your vital data, movies, photos, and music. It connects to your Windows and Mac system via USB 3.0 which offers faster data transfer rates when compared to USB 2.0. When connected to an operating system that supports UASP, data transfers will be even faster.
The Transcend Elite software provides user-friendly applications that help you keep important files organized, protected, and up-to-date. This downloadable software protects your files with 256-bit AES encryption. It also allows you to schedule backups and offers restore functions. By pressing the Auto-backup button on the StoreJet 25S3 and using the Transcend Elite software, you can sync files or folders of your choice, to keep contents of one or two locations in sync. A USB cable is included with the enclosure.
