R. Journet & Co., based in London, was a prolific manufacturer of, and designer for, glass-topped dexterity puzzles, creating over 100 different titles between 1891 and the 1960s. These vintage, hand-held, paper-covered wooden box puzzles required players to manipulate metal balls or pieces through mazes. Popular examples include "The Queen Mary" and "The Turnstile".
