Art Makes Sense Drawing, Watercolor & Painting Pad – 150 g – 11.8" × 15.75"
Create freely with this high-quality watercolor and painting pad designed for practice, lessons, and everyday artistic work. With 50 sheets of cold-pressed, medium-weight 150 gsm paper, it offers a versatile surface that supports a wide range of drawing and painting techniques without the commitment of heavier, more expensive paper.
The felt-marked texture provides gentle tooth and control, allowing watercolor washes to flow while still supporting detail work. It’s an excellent choice for beginners, students, and artists building confidence before moving on to heavier watercolor papers.
Suitable for watercolor paints and pencils, this pad also works well with acrylics, poster paints, chalks, graphite, colored pencils, and wax crayons. The acid-free paper helps artwork retain its clarity and color over time.
How to Keep Sheets Flat While Watercolor Painting
For best results, use with a smooth painting board, such as our lighter-weight recycled plastic painting boards or our wooden painting boards – the same type used with our loose watercolor sheets. to tape down your 150 gsm paper. You can use a tape made for watercolor painting, such as our watercolor paper tape, or any painter's tape made for delicate surfaces, though it may vary by brand.
Art Makes Sense products nurture the senses through high-quality materials, encouraging deeper learning and artistic expression with care for both people and the environment.
