The Best Pesticide-free Lice Treatment
NYDA contains NO PERMETHRIN, a chemical insecticide used in almost every head louse treatment on the market. Permethrin works by attacking the nervous systems of lice who come into contact with it, which leaves them paralyzed.
Since permethrin is a neurotoxic pesticide, it is also toxic to humans. While it is relatively safe in small doses, it can be a skin irritant and can be harmful in larger quantities. Permethrin is the active ingredient in most lice remedies.

How does NYDA work?
NYDA works by suffocating lice thanks to its active ingredient, called dimeticone. NYDAs dimeticone formula is highly viscous, meaning it spreads quickly. Because of this, NYDA will quickly be absorbed into the tracheal systems of head lice and suffocate them in rapid succession.
Eradicates Lice Eggs/Nits
Because a lice infestation won’t go away just by killing adult lice, it’s crucial to deal with lice eggs, also known as nits. Most lice treatments don’t effectively kill nits, leaving you to painstakingly comb through hair to remove every last one with a lice comb. However, NYDA is unlike most lice treatments.
NYDA doesn’t simply kill the adults and let you deal with the rest; it has been shown to be significantly more effective at killing nits than pesticides. Directions
- Spray thoroughly all over dry hair, taking special care to make sure roots are well saturated.
- Massage into scalp until hair is completely wet. Leave in for 30 minutes while NYDA does its job!
- Afterwards, deftly comb with NYDA’s lice
- Massage - Massage in until the hair is completely wet. Allow NYDA to work for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, Comb hair carefully with NYDA's lice comb - After 30 minutes the dead lice and larvae can be combed out with the NYDA lice comb. (Make sure you have the right comb). Leave the product on during 8 hours. If you apply NYDA in the evening, make sure to put a thick towel on your pillow so that the solution is not absorbed by your bed!
- After 8 hours, Wash with any regular shampoo - Then, wash your hair with your usual shampoo. You can use any regular shampoo that you normally use.
If necessary, the application should be repeated as described above. In any event, the result of treatment should be re-checked after 8-10 days and apply a 2nd time to ensure full eradication of head lice.
