100% Circular
Auping Elysium is a fully circular mattress made to sink into blissfully. That’s because it has a Harmony-pocs® comfort layer, which we developed especially for this mattress. It is made up of many (over 800) mini springs that are individually packed in small textile bags. The springs distribute the pressure well and give you the feeling of being hugged, as if you were receiving a loving embrace. But it doesn’t feel constricting because the mini springs have an open structure to ensure good airflow and moisture regulation.
Optimal ventilation
But this comfort layer is not the only factor that ensures good ventilation. This mattress does not contain foam or latex, materials that are often used in mattresses, but actually insulate a little too well. We deliberately chose polyester and a Vent-tex® comfort layer, not only because it is the most suitable material for making a circular mattress, but also because it doesn’t absorb moisture, unlike cotton. It ensures that your mattress doesn’t become stiflingly hot and that you don’t get hot quickly at night either.
A delightfully fresh bed at all times
The topmost layer (ticking) of the Elysium mattress is easily removable using a zip and is machine washable at 60 °C – perfect for those allergic to dust mites.
