“A come Andromeda” è una miniserie televisiva di fantascienza diretta da Vittorio Cottafavi, basata sull’omonimo romanzo di Fred Hoyle e John Elliot, e trasmessa in cinque puntate dalla RAI nel 1972. La colonna sonora, composta e diretta da Mario Migliardi, è finalmente pubblicata in vinile per la prima volta in assoluto.

Ascoltando questo album ci si immerge in una dimensione fantascientifica fatta di sonorità sperimentali talvolta allucinanti, talvolta calme e tonali. I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni intervengono mescolandosi in un magma di suoni in costante equilibrio tra inferno e paradiso. “Tema di Andromeda” (A1), il motivo principale, con la voce di cristallo di Edda Dell’Orso dal sapore barocco e arrangiamento moderno con ritmiche e chitarre elettriche distorte, riscosse un enorme successo radiofonico e discografico sulla scia della grande popolarità dello sceneggiato TV. “Le spiagge di Durness” (A2)  è un romantico e ritmico brano per archi, quasi un balletto come quelli tipici dei grandi show della TV Italiana degli anni passati. Affascinanti sonorità caratterizzano questo commento (A5, A6, B1, B2, B3, B4), alternando parti orchestrali a musica elettronica. Non mancano passaggi lounge come una bossa per flauto (A6) e un elettrizzante shake (B5).

I was wondering how nate could ever redeem himself, and he did. the last scene with him was sad, but I also felt it was beautiful. thank you to the author for making a beautiful omegaverse book that gave me all the feels. now I'm jumping straight into book two.

However there were just one too many convoluted plot points, sentences just did not flow nicely at times, and I was left with a lot of confusion on my end. I think it has the bones of being a great story but seems like it was rushed and I had to push myself to finish the last of the book and was left with an unsatisfying ending. It’s definitely different from other omegaverse novels I’ve read but not for good reasons. I really think it could be great but needs some serious tweaking and editing before I’d read it again.
