ResinTech TUE is a 100% solids, two-component transparent universal epoxy for commercial and industrial concrete floor systems. It is used as a primer, reinforcement / build coat and broadcast binder for flake, quartz, metallic and solid-colour systems, and as the premium epoxy layer in ResinTech traffic coating systems, where it may be substituted for CBE. For UV-exposed or exterior applications, specify a UV-stable aliphatic topcoat such as ResinTech HPP polyaspartic topcoat, TCU aliphatic urethane topcoat, or CRU chemical-resistant urethane topcoat where required by the system design.

Where TUE sits in the system: In ResinTech traffic systems (PTS / VTS / EWS), TUE is the premium epoxy reinforcement / build layer and may be substituted for CBE where a premium epoxy is preferred. It is protected by an HPP UV-stable surface coat (or a CRU premium finish); where movement or waterproofing is required, a FLEXCOAT-PU flexible base membrane is used beneath the build. Confirm the system specification against the current ResinTech documentation. View the full range of ResinTech floor coating systems available at Canopus Supply.

Application Notes

Always confirm application requirements against the current TDS, SDS and project specification before use.

Surface Preparation

Concrete must be sound, clean, dry and free of laitance, curing compounds, sealers, oil, grease and bond breakers. Mechanically prepare to ICRI CSP 2–3 for thin coatings and CSP 3–4 for broadcast or traffic-duty work. Vacuum until dust is removed from pores and profile; do not rely on acid etching for professional work. Repair cracks, spalls, joints and edges before application; dynamic cracks and movement joints require separate detailing. Test existing coatings for adhesion and compatibility. Do not apply to wet concrete, condensation or active water intrusion — TUE is not a moisture-vapour mitigation system. Confirm all requirements against the current TDS.

Mixing

Condition materials to application temperature before use. Pre-mix Part A; add compatible pigment to Part A first when a pigmented coat is required. Add Part B at 2:1 by volume and mix mechanically for 3–5 minutes at low speed. Scrape sides and bottom of the pail and avoid whipping air into the resin. Do not thin with solvents. Use full kits or accurately measured partial kits. For deep-build or casting work, pour promptly after mixing and control mass to limit heat. Confirm mixing procedure against the current TDS.

Application Tools

Apply by squeegee, roller, notched squeegee or gauge rake and backroll to an even wet film, maintaining a wet edge. For broadcast systems, broadcast quartz, flake or sand into the wet TUE at the specified rate and remove loose media after cure. Confirm recommended tools against the current TDS.

Finish & Gloss

TUE cures glossy with a slight satin character from its additive package, rather than a mirror-like super high-gloss. Where a super high-gloss finish is required, ResinTech recommends CBE (Core Bond Epoxy). Colour, clarity and gloss can vary with film thickness, mass, temperature, substrate and pigmenting method.

Limitations
  • UV-resistant, not a UV-stable aliphatic system; under prolonged unprotected UV it can amber or lose gloss — topcoat with HPP or CRU for permanent exterior UV.
  • Not a crack-bridging membrane and not for active cracks, moving joints or structural movement.
  • Not a waterproofing membrane or moisture-vapour mitigation system.
  • Deep pours are for experienced installers only — do not attempt large-volume casting without a mock-up and heat-control plan.
  • Do not apply to wet, frozen, contaminated, dusty or condensing substrates.
  • For severe chemical service, protect with a CRU topcoat — confirm against the TDS.

Frequently Asked Questions

What systems is TUE used in?

TUE is the premium epoxy reinforcement / build layer in ResinTech traffic systems (PTS, VTS and EWS), where it may be substituted for CBE, and the epoxy build layer in flake, quartz, metallic and solid-colour floor systems. See the full range of ResinTech floor coating systems at Canopus Supply. Confirm system design against the current ResinTech TDS.

Does TUE yellow under UV exposure?

TUE is more UV-resistant than ordinary epoxies and resists yellowing better than standard epoxy, but it is not a UV-stable aliphatic system. For long-term colour stability in UV-exposed or exterior applications, use a compatible UV-stable aliphatic topcoat such as ResinTech HPP, TCU or CRU. Confirm system suitability against the current TDS.

Can TUE be used on exterior surfaces?

TUE may be used in interior and protected exterior assemblies; for permanent unprotected exterior UV exposure, specify a UV-stable aliphatic topcoat over it. Confirm suitability against the current TDS and project specification.

How do I get a super high-gloss finish?

TUE cures glossy with a slight satin character. For a mirror-like, super high-gloss result, ResinTech recommends CBE (Core Bond Epoxy). Confirm finish expectations against the current TDS.

Love this set!!!
Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 1
I was trying to figure out which of the many different balls this company offers, and I was getting frustrated but then i was SOOOO happy to see they had multiple sets that had multiple of the different balls they offer!! I bought this set and the other set they offer, but this one was my favorite and I think my dogs too! The orange ball works great and bounces just high enough that it doesn’t clear our patio wall, but enough for him to go and jump up to retrieve. But the glow in the dark ball is his favorite! Both me and my pomsky were blown away how we brought the glow in the dark ball outside just as the sun was going down, and when we brought it back inside it was BRIGHT AND GLOWY!!! Even with the sun going down and not much light left!! He loves to play with it in the house after it’s all glowy from the sun. Sometimes we even glow it up under a light inside the house if it’s dark outside, and he will play with it outside in the dark haha he loves it!!! And I think it’s pretty cool too!! All of the balls this company overs are VERY durable! We realized early on that we cannot give our dog regular tennis balls cuz his favorite thing to do is tear the outside fabric off!! So we were trying to figure out what company has the best balls for dogs so they can’t sit there and try to pry them apart, and we found this company!! We have already bought from them about 3 times and all of their balls are durable and bounce how they say they will bounce!! They have the super bouncers and the glow in the dark one and the one with angles that will bounce in different directions and the ones you can throw REALLYY far! Overall, all the balls from this company are very durable, bounce really good, and keep my dog occupied without allowing him to sit there and tear it apart!!! Which i love cuz I do not like when he stops playing with us to sit there and try to take off the fabric, cuz then he could swallow it! So always buy the balls from this company!!! They are the best and most durable!!!! Also plenty soft for your dogs mouth so they can chew on it a bit and it won’t hurt their teeth/gums!

Good sturdy balls
Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 2
My dogs love balls! Unfortunately, they tend to chew them up very quickly. My Belgium Malinois chews on this all the time, and it has held up pretty well. Good option for chewers

Fetch Perfection
Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 2
If you’re anything like me, fetch is the ultimate game with your furry companion. The Chuckit! Dog Fetch Ball Medley has taken our playtime to the next level with its variety and durability. This 3-pack of medium-sized, ultra-rugged balls is perfect for endless games of fetch without worrying about wear and tear. I love how each ball has a unique texture and color, keeping my dog engaged and excited every time. The medium size is just right for energetic dogs, allowing for long throws and big leaps. Plus, the rugged design means these balls can withstand even the most enthusiastic chewers and rough play sessions, making them a great investment for active pets. However, the vibrant colors can sometimes make them easy to lose in green grass or sandy beaches, but a good game of hide-and-seek with your dog is a small price to pay for such fantastic fetch balls. Additionally, while they’re durable, no ball is completely indestructible, so occasional replacements might be necessary for the most aggressive players. Overall, the Chuckit! Dog Fetch Ball Medley is a must-have for any dog owner looking to enhance their playtime. They’re fun, durable, and keep both you and your dog entertained for hours. A solid 5-star rating for their quality and variety, with a tiny star lost to their occasionally elusive colors.

great ball!
Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 2
My pitbull LOVES these. She is a power chewer and tough on balls and toys and tends to go through them insanely quick. She is still on her first ball out of this pack and its been at least two months. It is a little small for her mouth but she doesn’t seem to mind, as it has quickly become one of her favorites. Not a loud ball and it doesn’t usually make that wet chewy noise when shes going to town on it which is huge for me😂😂 Safe for my pittie so i’d imagine a smaller dog would be just fine.

Border Collie Approved: Easy to Clean, Durable, and Great Bounce
Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 2
These are the best balls out there for dogs. These fit great in the chuck-it ball launcher, which we need to wear out my border collie. They fit her mouth properly and, most importantly, do not absorb all the spit or water after a good rain. They are quick to clean off and have good weight so you can let them fly! Furthermore, they bounce well, which is perfect for my dog that likes to catch them on a bounce. The ball is a strong rubber, so should not be easy to chew up. I've used these for years, and the only time I've had to replace them is when one gets lost in the hay field. I highly suggest these as replacements for the common tennis balls.
