The story of Ladurée started in 1862 when Louis Ernest Ladurée opened a bakery in the heart of Paris at 16 rue Royale. In 1872, following a fire, the little bakery became a pastry shop and the decoration was then done by Jules Cheret, a famous painter and poster-designer of the time. Jeanne Souchard, Ernest Ladurée's wife, then had the idea of combining the Parisian café with a pastry-shop, thereby creating one of Paris' first tea-rooms.
In 1993 Ladurée was bought by Francis and David Holder and becomes one of the best-known gourmet addresses in Paris, a veritable institution with its famous "macaron" as its emblem. In 1997 Ladurée opened a tea-room/restaurant on the prestigious Champs-Elysées, followed by another in the Printemps department store and on the Left Bank as well as the beginning of their international adventure with branches in London, Geneva, Monaco and Tokyo.
In this book Philippe Andrieu, the Pastry Chef at Ladurée, reveals 100 of the most famous Ladurée recipes, adapted for the general public. From the Strawberry Cake with Rose Choux Pastry to Pistachio Financiers and the world-famous macarons in all their variety, this icon of French "art de vivre" is brought to life in a pallet of pastries the color of powder pink, light green, bright purple, and lemon yellow.

Comfortable

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this latex pillow is! It provides just the right amount of support without feeling too firm, making it perfect for someone like me who prefers a balanced feel. Unlike memory foam pillows, which can sometimes feel too dense, this one offers a gentle bounce that adjusts to my head and neck naturally.
One of the things I appreciate most is how well it maintains its shape throughout the night. No matter how I shift positions, it doesn’t flatten out or lose support. Another bonus is that it stays cool—I haven’t experienced any overheating, which is a common issue with other pillows I’ve tried.
There was a faint latex scent when I first unboxed it, but after leaving it out to air for a short while, it completely disappeared. Overall, this pillow is a fantastic option for anyone looking for something supportive yet comfortable, and I’d definitely recommend it to others!

Dream pillow
I’ve been using latex pillows for over 30 years, and I can’t find them in local stores anymore. I’ve been needing to replace my pillow and finally decided to try this one. There are so many options on Amazon that it’s overwhelming. But this standard low loft pillow ended up being PERFECT. It feels amazing and just like the pillows I’ve been using since childhood. It is soft but cradles my head and neck perfectly. For me, it’s like sleeping on a gentle cloud. Very happy with my purchase. (Yes, it does have a slight latex odor. That is normal due to the material. It’s not very strong and it doesn’t bother me).

Great latex pillow

This review is for the biamktp queen pillow. Medium firmness. Finally a latex pillow worth keeping. After trying many other latex pillows I'm finally sleeping comfortably. This pillow is soft, yet firm enough to give your head support. I'm not having any neck or shoulder pain when I wake up. I'm sleep on my side about 95% of the time. 5% on my back. I've been sleeping with this pillow for about 10 days and still am happy with it. It was delivered on time, absolutely no odor and it has a removable cover. I highly recommend it.
