Blue Cat Audio DP Meter Pro is an advanced metering and analysis plug-in that combines customizable peak, RMS, crest-factor, and dynamic-range monitoring with MIDI and automation output. It is aimed at engineers who need more than a passive meter and want to reuse signal analysis as a control source in mixing, mastering, or sidechain-style workflows.
Key features:
- Customizable peak, RMS, crest-factor, and dynamic-range metering
- Includes K-System scales and user-defined scaling options
- Can generate automation curves or MIDI CC from measured signal envelopes
- Handles mono, stereo, mid-side, surround, and multichannel streams up to 16 channels
- Useful for metering, monitoring, and analysis-driven control tasks in a DAW
DP Meter Pro fits especially well on master buses, post chains, and technical utility slots where clear level information matters.
