Like the Lega People, their Political and Social Life is organized around a Secret Initiatory Association, the Bukota. The Bukota Society welcomes both men and women, and is compared to the Bwami Society of the Lega People. They are also culturally very close to their neighbors the Lengola People.
- Kakungu Figures, which belong to Bukota Initiates occupying the highest positions of the Village Governing Society, are used during the Initiation Rites and Funerary Rites; the beginnings of Community Life, as well as the End.
- They indicate Rank and Status among Bukota Society Members, and usually represent a Male or Female Ancestor. The term Kakungu symbolizes an old person, full of dignity and power, who has fallen victim to Witchcraft or Ritual Pollution. Adapted from page 382 of "Treasures of Africa - Tervuren Museum"
- The Kakungu Figures, often geometric and decorated with incised and sometimes colored spots, played a role in the context of Initiation Ceremonies, and were then placed on the Tombs of High-Ranking Initiates. Woah, Shimmer!

I love cute little things like this with the spray bulb. They’re fun gifts. My daughter likes to shimmer sometimes. She kind of overdid it the first time. It does t take much to get a sparkly, fine shimmer. The photos are a bit exaggerated on the product page. You don’t have to “paint” your skin with it. It’s an easy application, and when used right really provides a nice accent. It’s light and has a quality look and feel.

So pretty!

This shimmer is beautiful! It applies smoothly and evenly and it sparkles absolutely beautifully. You can do one spritz for a very light coverage or a few to really glow! I love the applicator - makes me feel fancy. It was a little bit sticky at first but it dries quickly and isn't sticky after that. It's a really great product to brighten up your look. Highly recommend!

This is such a fun little product.

This is such a fun little product. The shimmer is really pretty and fine, not chunky or glittery in a bad way. It gives a nice glow without looking overdone. Super easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I’ve used it on my face and collarbones and it looks great in different lighting. For the price, I’m honestly impressed.

Glitter Puffs

*Poof* and then there was glitter. Boko Highlighter Powder Spray, Body Shimmer Spray for Glitter Highlighter Makeup makes it as easy as squeezing a bulb. The biggest part of the assembly of the product is to male sure you remove the plastic cap and the rubber tipped end. If you miss either the spray will seem to not work.
Once properly set up the powder spray bottle only takes a modest squeeze to dust the skin with instant glitter and glory. I love the look, the easy to use spray, and the bottle itself which has a simple but elegant feel to it!

Extremely fine shimmer- the air bulb works well for application- Even and controllable
Color: Late Autumn
This is a great way to apply a very fine sparkle. The shimmer is very very finely ground and it sprays out evenly with this air bulb. It does have a lid so there's no chance on it getting everywhere unless you leave the lid off. It also comes with a little plug in the hole so there's two mechanisms there to keep the glitter in the bottle when not in use it's very easy to use and apply and the spray pattern is very even.
I got the golden shimmer which looks great with a tan or if you have warmer undertones in your skin.
It doesn't require any sort of setter or glue + doesn't have any fragrance. It's a small bottle so it doesn't take up a lot of room.
