The Dominator system features 3.0" diameter King shocks with Carli's custom tuning and pistons. The result is the smoothest and best all around performing shock for the 94-12 platform. It doesn't matter if you're commuting to work, or jumping your truck because these shocks can handle it all in stride. You have to feel these shocks to truly believe you can make a diesel truck ride this smooth.
CONTROL ARMS // Hand fabricated and welded in California with the highest quality joints for improved flex, these arms are a high strength control arm replacement. To run 37’s, you will need the high clearance fabricated arms, that have a notch for tire clearance. For the ultimate ride, check out the long arm Dominator system.
SWAY BAR UPGRADE // Eliminates the harshness caused by the stiff factory sway bar, letting your suspension do its job and move independently. This is one of the single biggest improvements you can make to your truck’s ride. To keep the factory ride, select the end link option. (TSB is for 03+ only)
LEAF PACK OPTIONS // Balancing ride and capability, the add a pack retains factory payload but improves small bump compliance by increasing the leaf count and reducing leaf thickness in half the pack. With the full leaf pack, a 15% payload reduction gets the best possible ride quality from the rear of the truck. Small chatter or large hit, this leaf pack will swallow it whole. The HD pack is ONLY for chase trucks or trucks with over 2,000lbs in bed at all times.
The Dominator 3.0 is Carli's original flagship ride quality performer for 1994-2012 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4x4 trucks. The larger displacement combined with Carli's custom low-flow piston and latest shock tune offers the smoothest dampening control and high speed bottom-out resistance. There's nothing smoother than a Carli tuned King 3.0.
In our opinion, the Dominator 3.0 offers the best all around ride quality of any suspension offerings for a Ram 2500/3500 truck. The size and displacement of the 3.0 shocks allows for tuning that almost eliminates and kind of felt choppiness while offering enough dampening to improve the truck's handling both on and off road.
Carli provides the option of whether to include the sway bar end links or torsion sway bar as well as rear progressive add a packs or full progressive leaf springs with this system. For 2003-2009 trucks especially, the replacement sway bar end links are highly recommended as 2"+ of front lift tends to overextend the factory sway bar end links. The progressive add a packs are designed to retain factory weight capacity while softening the rear of the truck as the rear suspension compresses.
The full progressive leaf springs replace the entire factory leaf spring pack and are designed to retain about 85% percent of the factory weight capacity. In terms of ride quality, the full progressive leaf springs offer one of the most significant improvements in ride quality available for these trucks.
**2010-present vehicles have 2 possible sizes of Sway Bar End Links. Place a socket on the nut that compresses the rubber End Link bushings; fitment of an 18mm socket will indicate the need for the 12mm part number.
This system fits Dodge Ram 2500 and Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 trucks from 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013.
