Washi is a traditional Japanese handmade paper made from natural plant fibers such as kozo (mulberry), mitsumata, and gampi. Its careful production process—stripping, boiling, washing, and beating the fibers into pulp, then forming and drying the sheets on bamboo screens—results in paper that is remarkably strong yet softly translucent. The process starts with a lightweight frame—typically bamboo or wood—onto which carefully cut sheets of washi are shaped and hand-applied. It is a good sunscreen, but if your skin is very oily, think again.

I have tried many, MANY sunscreens, and this one is in my top 10, but not at the very top. Why not? Well, what I like about it is that you get a good amount for an excellent price. It's lightweight, but not extremely so, and this size can easily last you 3 months without any problem. However, while it's made for oily skin, it's not that light. After just a few hours of application, it can leave your skin feeling greasy, especially if you sweat easily. It doesn't leave a white cast, but it does leave a slight, shiny finish. Reapplying isn't very comfortable. If you use it just once a day, it's fine, but if you apply it more often, your skin will feel a bit heavy and oily. I think this sunscreen is better for specific occasions rather than for daily use. If I had to choose a sunscreen for daily use, I would pick one with a lighter formula, like Fusion Water from Isdin.

stellar sunscreen for face- sensitive skin friendly, feels good not greasy on, timeless

I used to try out different brands and this is the one I've got to have for my face- safe on sensitive skin and just feels really nice and not greasy putting on, sometimes I get stuck borrowing so now I get a few and have them in various places.
