All angles are mandrel bent, eliminating sharp changes in direction for optimum flow. Enlarged flats on the socket provide an excellent non-slip gripping surface. The hex designed brazed nipple provides a greater holding area for greater strength and easier assembly. The taper design provides straight through connection with easy alignment upon assembly, eliminating loose pieces of rubber within the flow area.
