Lotus Planting Instructions
Give this beauty plenty of room to grow! Plant this tall, large specimen in a 30 inches in diameter, wide or wider, shallow container and plant lotus tuber in heavy loam soil with 4 - 8 inches of water above the soil. Plant in full sun where lotus will receive at least 8+ hours of sunlight daily. Coin leaves should appear in one to two weeks, aerial leaves should appear in a week or so after that, once you have aerial leaves, it is time to fertilize your lotus.
Lotus Fertilizing Instructions
Lotus are very heavy feeders! Fertilize every three weeks with Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs + Humates throughout the growing/blooming season (June through September). Your lotus should grow and bloom the very first year!
