The all-new GEN 3 Yamaha MT-09 and SP models represent a significant upgrade from the earlier versions. This new model required a completely new design approach for the exhaust system to complement the sharper and more agile characteristics within the Yamaha lineup.
This time, we focused on reducing overall weight by moving away from the previous doughnut link pipe and opting for a lighter all-titanium muffler. The incredible sound of Yamaha's triple engine is preserved and even enhanced, especially when the supplied silencer is removed.
This exhaust system allows technicians to maximize horsepower and torque tuning without facing any restrictions on exhaust flow.
This exhaust system is highly visible and makes a bold statement. After just one ride, the titanium will develop beautiful shades of blue and red, creating a stunning visual effect. Unlike stainless steel, which requires regular maintenance to maintain its appearance, this titanium exhaust will not corrode or discolour and never needs polishing as it ages.
