Used in ancient Egypt, Greece, China & Japan, Peppermint has long been enjoyed as a perfume, flavouring agent, antiseptic, stimulant & traditional medicine.

With a high concentration of menthol at its core, peppermint is associated with freshness, coolness & clarity. It’s sharp & crisp scent can cut through most situations & deliver a feeling of focus better than most other fragrances.

Traditional medicines cite that menthol has analgesic properties which is why it has been used to reduce headaches, body aches, swelling & even sore teeth.

Widely used as an aphrodisiac, it would be a brave person who uses peppermint before sleep time if sleep is the intended outcome – instead we recommend applications that are designed to enhance presence, alertness & stamina.

Most would consider Peppermint an ideal addition to our soaps - it will add an additional sense of cleanliness to any of our soaps or cleansers.

Going beyond soaps, Peppermint should be considered a favourite for our body lotions, hair products & massage oil.

In summer, use Peppermint to add some cool to your day & your attitude - add it to a daytime use body lotion or gel.

If you happen to get a little too much sun, consider Peppermint added to our Aloe Vera gel for an added sense of relief for the mind & body.

Vaporised or used in the sauna it can create a sense of calm alertness that will help focus your mind.

Uses.

Bespoke: Peppermint adds some cool to our soaps, hair products and bubble bath. In a massage oil it smells great. It's perfect in our Aloe Vera.

Vaporiser: Start with 6 to 8 drops.

Diffuser: Start with 6 to 8 drops.

Burner: Start with 6 to 8 drops.

Bath: Add 8 to 12 drops to your bath.

Shower: 3 or 4 drops in the corner of the shower.

Sauna: Add 6 to 8 drops to your ladle of water and pour over hot rocks.

Hands & feet: Add 2 to 4 drops to a bowl of warm water and soak.

On the go: Open the cap and inhale straight from the bottle or add a drop or two to your face mask.
