Even with the stock liquid-liquid head exchanger, the engine can still run very hot and run the risk of overheating the engine's coolant as well. Aggressive tunes and some track miles can significantly overheat your oil wear down your engine. Leave it to Mishimoto to come up with an oil cooling solution to your Focus ST! The Mishimoto engineers started with a large 19-row oil cooler and mounted it in the front of the vehicle where it receives the most airflow. The oil cooler was mounted on the passenger side as to not interfere with some aftermarket air intake systems. Application specific braided stainless steel lines transfer the oil from the cooler to the engine and feature -10AN fittings for an easy installation. Mishimoto engineers saw consistent temperature decreases of over 30 F (16.7 C) using our non-thermostatic sandwich plate. Proving that this oil cooler kit can withstand the stresses of the most extreme applications. This oil cooler kit is available with either a Stealth Black or Sleek Silver cooler and your choice of the Mishimoto Oil Sandwich Plate or the Mishimoto Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate. Another great one by Gibbs!
Format: Paperback
Great read! I have yet to be disappointed by a Stuart Gibbs book. However, unlike all the others I've read by him, it was a lot less of a mystery, and a lot more of a adventure. Nothing wrong with that, though. I definitely recommend it and can't wait to read the next one!

Interesting and entertaining

We had another book on New York of these series and wanted to get this book for my daughter who is 9 years old. Along with her I found the language of this book interesting and entertaining. Have already visited couple of places mentioned in it.
