"Aromas and flavours of sweet scented tree fruits - pears & apples; very floral and salivating with blossoms and medium+ acidity. No mistaking the influences of alcohol with heat from the branding fortification. Medium weight, fine satin texture, balanced exotic perfumed finish. Drink now and through 2030 - this wine will go the distance" Cameron Douglas Masert Somilier, Jun 2018

Bright, even straw-yellow colour with some depth, paler edged. The nose is soft and elegant in proportion with moderately concentrated aromas ripe grapes, tropical fruits and suggestions of raisins, musk and honied notes, revealing subtle savoury stonefruit elements. Sweet to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate has moderately concentrated flavours of ripe grapes, musk and exotic florals, with raisin hints. The mouthfeel is bright and zesty with good energy to balance the richness and lusciousness, with clean spirit drive. The wine is smooth-flowing with soft and rounded textures, and possesses good linearity with underlying alcohol, carrying to a rich, musky, honied finish with some acid bite. This is an elegantly concentrated Muscat vin doux naturel with intense flavours of ripe grapes and musk with good drive and zesty acid cut. Serve as an aperitif and with fruit desserts over the next 3-4 years. Muscat Petits Grains fermented with the addition of alcohol spirit to stop fermentation at 15.5% alc. and approx. 115 g/L RS" Raymond Chan, Dec 2017

Made from the Muscat grape this delicious dessert wine is pale golden yellow in colour with a bright and intense colour. Powerful, rich and elegant with aromas of candied fruits and flowers. The palate is well balance, long tasting with an aromatic persistence

Only the ripe grapes are harvested. The harvesting of each plot requires several pickings. The alcoholic fermentation starts slowly. The temperature does not exceed 15°C. When the residual sugar level is reached, a fortification is carried out, that is to say, alcohol is added in order to stop fermentation.

Accessible, fun, and exciting.
Format: Kindle
While this book is aimed at younger readers (it includes, for examples, expletives like "Zooks!" and "Zounds!"), I Escaped The Tower of London is a neat historical fiction novella with taught pacing that readers of all ages can enjoy. Using the real-life account of John Gerard as inspiration, the authors have created a young boy who escapes from the Tower of London while attempting to aid Princess Elizabeth during Queen Mary's reign. It's exciting, it fast-paced, and it even has a pleasant message about doing the right thing — even when the right thing is hard to do. It's packed with a hodgepodge of images (most of them public domain, but also a few original pieces) that add to the experience. And the end includes a brief lesson on the historical figures involved. Despite the source material, you shouldn't worry if you (or your young ones) are squeamish; the main character sidesteps the torture and there's very little violence. All in all, quite a good read. Very accessible, surprisingly fun and exciting.

Loved it!!
Format: Paperback
I have bought all of the books in this series for my nephew and he LOVES them. I get an email whenever a new one is coming out and I can buy it (which I always do) if I would like. It makes it so easy to keep current on the series.

wow!
Format: Kindle
What an amazing story that tells about history from the perspective of a kid named Ben that was pretty much forced (but was thankful for the work) to work with coal in the Tower of London, to find out Princess Elizabeth was arrested and sent to the same tower. The plot thickens as he helps her escape. He was met with many challenges, but his best friend Tim helped him always, what a faithful friend! I absolutely love and adore this story because it’s based on history and real life facts, these things actually happened! But when you read it, the author has written it so well it almost sounds like a fantasy! I can’t wait to read more, it’s such a great book, I give it 5 stars but really it deserves 10! Highly recommend!

Don't let this great middle grade book escape you.
Format: Paperback
I am an Anglophile and love the history of England. This book was an incredible read and fed my addiction fully with Renaissance England inspired history and fiction featuring Ben, a 15 year of commoner and an accidental hero who finds himself a prison let working the Tower’s dreadful jail. This spry has short chapters that will appeal to children with a short attention span, and the storyline like the other installment feature children using real life problem solving skills as they help others. This is an overall great read and highly recommended.
