Baby Bio: He’s a precious little toad! These babies have me thinking that there must be a genetic predisposition to being really cute and photogenic. And OK, that might be a little silly, but I am telling you! Every baby from Iron Man Jr seems to be this way! So adorable and so delightful to photograph!! This baby was no exception. He is so tubby and round. Another common theme in this group...you can tell that the little guys do not miss the dinner bell! He seems to have a pretty good personality as well! I got to see a lot from him. There were moments where he was a little sassy, moments where he was very chill, and moments where he was just totally indifferent to everything that was going on around him. Colors are totally in the baby stage still, but already you can see beautiful blue bars developing, some lovely reds, yellows, and orange eyes! There are so many things to love!

About this pairing (F10-CG16): Ok, this should be so much fun!! We love each sides of the family tree, with both being very different from one another! With dad, we are bringing the heat. He himself has a lot of red and has produced many offspring who have followed in his footsteps. Mom is interesting because she brings a whole range of color, but with extra heavy emphasis on the blues! Her family tree is really good at producing the "high blue" look. It should be a lot of fun, seeing these two special worlds come together!

UVB Lighting: Depending on cage size, we typically use T5 HO Reptisun 5.0 with a basking distance of 10 - 12 inches. 

Temperatures: We provide a small, designated basking area under your heat bulb of approximately 88-92°F with cooler areas available throughout the enclosure. Ambient room temperature in the 70's is great!

Hydration: We recommend one longer morning misting session (5-10 minutes) approximately 30-60 minutes after lights come on, along with 2-3 shorter misting sessions spread throughout the day. Our goal is to provide multiple daily drinking opportunities + humidity spikes while allowing the enclosure to dry between mistings.

Feeding: Currently eating 1/4” crickets. Fed 6 days per week, approximately 10-15 insects per feeding. Crickets are dusted lightly with Repashy's Calcium Plus and gutloaded with Repashy's Bug Burger and fresh fruits and veggies.
