HISTORY ASPECTS:
The Kawanishi H8K2 "Emily" was one of the most advanced flying boats deployed during World War II and served with distinction in the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service. Developed as a long-range maritime patrol aircraft, the H8K was designed to surpass earlier models like the H6K "Mavis." First introduced in 1942, the H8K2 featured significant upgrades in speed, defensive armament, and range, making it a formidable presence in reconnaissance, transport, and anti-submarine roles across the vast Pacific theater.
The H8K2 gained notoriety during the second Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in March 1942, where two aircraft attempted a long-range bombing run from the Marshall Islands via a remote refueling stop in French Frigate Shoals. Although the attack was ultimately unsuccessful due to cloud cover and effective U.S. radar interception, the mission demonstrated the impressive reach of the H8K2. The aircraft continued to serve throughout the war in missions over New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and the Philippines, often engaging in perilous night operations and long-range maritime surveillance missions. Its rugged design and heavy defensive firepower earned the respect of Allied pilots, who found it difficult to shoot down despite its large size.
Though only 167 units of the H8K series were built, the aircraft left a lasting impact due to its advanced engineering and operational versatility. Unlike many other flying boats of the era, the H8K2 could stay aloft for more than 20 hours, allowing it to patrol wide swaths of ocean or conduct bombing raids deep into enemy territory. It was considered by many aviation historians as the finest flying boat of World War II. By the end of the conflict, however, the "Emily" was largely grounded due to fuel shortages and Allied air superiority, but its legacy remained as one of Japan’s most sophisticated contributions to seaplane warfare.
This beautifully detailed 1:144 scale model captures the unique power and elegance of Japan's premier maritime flying boat. With accurate Imperial Japanese Navy markings and realistic paintwork, this model is a standout addition for collectors interested in naval aviation history or rare WWII aircraft.

Dont wait! Assemble right away! Just in case you need to return it.
Color: Black, Size: 22" - 4 Panel
Ok, I like the idea of this but the assembly is frustrating. One side lined up perfectly with the holes however, the small bars that connect the screen to base is not lining up. I think it's do the fabric the screen or divider is made of. It's not stretchy. I brought this months ago and just opened it today. I'm upset and don't even think returning it is possible. If the material was a bit longer or stretchy to give a little room to work with this divider would be great. However, I'm not sure what I can use it for since I'm unable to attach it to the bottom. Beware! Don't wait like me. Tip for the manufacturer. Next time invest in Velcro dividers so the fabric can be adjusted with ease. Literally if I take the screen off the frame aligns perfectly. However, it defeats its purpose of privacy. I might buy some material myself and create a more flexible divider. Or I'll buy Velcro myself and attach to the bottom. I don't know yet.

Worth the investment
Size: 1 Panel, Size: 1 Panel
I had to order this in an emergency. To put it in brief words, I live in a two level studio unit. My bedroom TV fell backwards off the bureau accidentally and down the stairs to its demise. Putting this together was no problem, instructions were thorough and easy. It came with several bars that connected together smoothly and an Allen key for the brackets and screws for the feet. I did one less horizontal bar on top and bottom so it could fit, which was great because with all of them on it was too long. However I ran into the difficulty of the horizontal bars popping out of the brackets during the last stages, but eventually got it done. I was also looking for a specific type of divider where I could adjust the feet so I could tuck it in between the dresser and banister. Glad I made this purchase.

You Get What You Pay For! A Piece Of Junk!
Size: 1 Panel
Flimsy and a piece of junk. Don’t waste your money. Assembly is a pain because it is so flimsy. Divider is thin. You can see right through it. Very wobbly.

Instructions are useless
Size: 1 Panel
The instructions are poorly written and not very helpful. The divider itself is easy to assemble, and honestly, it would’ve been quicker if I had skipped the directions altogether. Once put together, though, it works as intended.

This was the best
Size: 1 Panel
This divider is great for creating a little privacy or separating a small area without taking up much space. The fabric is thick enough to block visual clutter, and the frame is lightweight but stable once it’s opened. It folds flat for storage, which is convenient if you only need it occasionally. Assembly was straightforward, and it was the perfect size. It’s a practical piece for apartments, studios, or home offices where you want a quick, temporary partition.
