DINITROL 4942 is an underbody product for treatment of vehicles during production, at import plants
and in the aftermarket. When applied to a clean, dry
surface, it adheres to both painted surfaces and
those coated with a layer of PVC or similar material.
Zinc, rubber and plastics are completely unharmed
by the product.
Applications
A clean and economic application on line, in stations
and workshops, is supported by the easy application. It
is also designed to be used on spare parts, machines and iron and steel structures in highly corrosive environments.
DINITROL 4942 is also very suitable as a transport and
storage anti-corrosive for long-term transporting or
warehousing under extreme corrosive circumstances.
Method of use
DINITROL 4942 can be applied by manual or automatic application equipment, airless. Recommended
application and product temperature is 15 – 30°C.
Pre-treatment Substrates
The surface must be clean, dry and free from corrosion.
DINITROL 4942 can be applied in two layer systems
with e g DINITROL ML and DINITROL 3650 as pretreatment.
Over-Coating / 2-Layer-Application
DINITROL 4942 shall not be over-painted or overapplied. For additional information, please consult

Storage
The product should be stored at 15 – 30°C and the
shelf life is then 2 years.
